True. I guess if it's limited to 10, people won't hand it out like freebies and think before they click the button.
That's true for anime which has Ecchi as a main trope too. There's this Summer 2017 anime called Hajimete no Gal that had a decent score during the first couple of weeks, but, dropped severely as weeks went on. It's still pretty popular though. It's the most watched anime this Summer on KissAnime.
FMA:B will probably drop out if more Gin Tama sequels come out. Each season is not exactly the most popular, but they all get high ratings. However, I don't take an anime that has less than 100,000 members and fewer number of votes into consideration when it pops up in the Top 50 list. I wait for it to see whether it can maintain the momentum. That's why I didn't watch Kimi no Na wa. immediately. Though, it still surprises me that it's at No. 1.
Watch the anime without taking it too seriously. None of the characters are annoying, I can tell you that. The MC is no punching bag, either. But, yeah, he doesn't exactly fall in love with any other girl(though other girls have a crush on him). His singular focus is to exact revenge on her. But, the anime has a lot of quippy and snappy dialogues, especially between the MC and the girl, and that makes it a lot of fun. It doesn't have a definitive ending, though. But, the anime is somewhat popular, so, I imagine it'd get a second season.
