There's no second season, according to MAL info. There's a spin-off series, and the sequel is actually a movie, and it's highly rated, too.

Heard it from whom. Nobody here has watched that anime. Yes, we'll be done with Bokurano this weekend, and after that, for June, my suggestion is Haruhi Suzumiya.

This is the first season:

And, have you heard of this whole 'chronological order of Haruhi Suzumiya' thing?

So, let's see, episode 0 first, then the two seaons, right?
And, have you watched the second season? And, by saying that it's a bad idea to discuss it, are you saying that it's just not that good, or?

Drama queen 43267. I talk to her using Skype. She said it was boring and reminded her of some ai mai mi anime

I see. There are thousands of people who love this anime, myself included. I disagree with her.

I get what you are saying. The episodes are not in chronological order, so, it would be difficult to discuss 5 at a time. So, have you watched the movie(The disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya), and do you recommend watching the second season or not?

When you see the first season, then you can decide if you wanna watch the second one. I did, and I don't regret it, but it wasn't the easiest watching experience for sure =) I haven't seen the movie yet.
