Where to download and watch anime

I am going to bookmark this thread because the OP has provided so many resource links. I am very new to this genre and at times I am very confused about where to watch anime online. By the way, I would like to ask one question. You have also provided download links, is it legal to download anime?

It is illegal, but you have to go out of your way to try and get caught. The Feds are more focused on shutting the sites that host the stuff more than the people downloading it.
 
Very Good Post :), although I am on a private Plex server all my content is just there and if not I can automatically request and it turns up automatically

but those sites are handy and bookmarked them for references

If downloading is illegal, why are we sharing links on the forum? We should never discuss something that is illegal. Watching online should be a better option.

Watching it online isn’t inherently legal as well. There’s several illegal streaming sites shared in the OP.

So you shouldn’t be taking the moral high ground on one activity while turning a blind eye to other illegal activities.

Violating copyright is only toeing the legality line. Even then it's only the site owners that are liable and not people consuming the content. And if you know how wide spread piracy is and how hard it is to track anyone down it's completely ignored by even the companies, let alone law enforcement.

Wow....you have clearly never through this statement through have you? Which country's laws do you want to follow here? Why would any user that's not from that country agree to those rules? Do you know how many dumb fucking laws exist in so many countries that make no sense or are only there to serve the people in power? The internet is there to allow those people who would otherwise not be able to speak freely to share their ideas. The only rules that apply here are the site's ones.
 
downloading is not illegal lol.
as long as you pay in crunchyroll and in other websites, you will be able to download some anime through app data

I agree about following the site rules and I also agree that every country has its own laws and it is not possible to follow all of these laws, especially when we are communicating online. However, there are some universal laws right, for instance, intellectual theft is wrong in every country and culture, right?

Not really, not every country thinks piracy to be illegal, and copyright laws only apply to countries where the copyright is filed in. There are also weird grey areas where it’s not really that illegal if there isn’t a way to legally watch something.

If you’re concerned about legality, you do realize that most streaming sites are illegal. They do more damage than torrenting, so I find it silly that you zoomed in on torrenting instead of taking the moral high ground on all illegal activity.

I don't know about any country where piracy is "legal." However, what I know is in some countries people are not prosecuted for piracy even though the country's law says it is illegal.

You should do some research before going on the moral high ground. It’s definitely legal in some countries.

You look like an idiot immediately joining the site and crying about “the law”, and being wrong about it. You’re like the hall monitor, running and snitching at people for eating in the hallway, and it turns out it wasn’t against the school rules.
