How many of you guys know "Telugu"?

Well, it isn't really popular, so I am not going to be surprised if you don't even know about it's existence.

Even in India, only people in our state, can speak this language :D
As far as I know, I love this language(well, it is my mother tongue). More like, I like the sound of our language.

Some words in Telugu:

Namaskaram (greetings- a formal word).

Velli vastam( We will be back- we use this to say good bye, formally).

Bagunnara? (How are you doing, these days?)

Well, as you can see, so much meaning can be conveyed using Telugu words :D
I can give meaning to almost every Telugu word, but you would get bored, if I ever do that. So, feel free to ask me stuff about Telugu language.

Telugu script looks pretty good =) All those curly letters ^.^ Also you can make a face emoticon with one of your letter ?_?

:D
It's pronounced as "ta" with more force. Also, that face looks great :D
Also, the curves always meet at some point or the other. So, it's really different from languages which have some dangling patters :D
P.S. By the way, that's Clara's essay about Telugu :D

Only broken Telugu..............My mother can speak Telugu fluently, and my sister's fluency is in between mine and my mother's..............

You can't possibly learn the entire language. So, how about you start learning some words, first?
Then, we can see how they are actually written.

How about it?

Yeah it looks like Telugu is good for handwriting, you can do the whole word without lifting your pencil =) On the other hand I tend to use printed-style letters even when I write by hand. With my messy handwriting it is probably preferable, at least you can try to tell one letter from the other ^^' Soooo, I guess I better avoid even trying to write those pretty Telugu letters, it would turn out a disaster xD
