I liked it. There are a few really good things about this show, like opening music, Yuzuru's backstory, secondary characters are interesting and likable. Iwasawa's story was great, added so much to the rest of the show. The whole concept for this anime was pretty interesting, though I can't say they explored that world they created.
The ending battle wasn't great, they could have done it better, step up the drama. But I liked the way they ended the romantic story line. Overall, a really good anime, I always recommend it to people who seem to like romance.

It's about a place where people, whose destination after death is not decided, arrive. It is like a bar, where they spend a little time that would decide their fate. I've only seen the original short movie, Death Billiards. Death Parade came out later as a TV series.

If you want, here is an example. Lets say you got a very young little brother. The boy is weak, cause he is a child, but he does overestimate his own abilities, as children are prone to do. Would you hate him? Should everyone hate him? I think the answers for both questions are "no", at least I would hope absolute majority of people would answer so if asked. So as you can see with this example, just being weak and overconfident doesn't necessarily brings people's hate your way.

Now here is a thing. Hate is an emotion, it is something our brains produce as a reaction to something that happens around us. When we talk about an emotion being logical we step on a dangerous road, cause the word doesn't really apply here. What we can talk about is how logically consistent our explanation of our feeling is with our other actions. Maybe we can find a person who hates every man with long black hair, and then if he hates Itachi it would be totally in line with that person other actions, i.e. it would be logical.

But what I was saying in the beginning is that our feelings towards characters, especially hate, are often irrational, meaning we can't find a suitable explanation for those feelings right away. And that is all I am saying =) And there is nothing bad about it, it is just a part of human nature.

I feel like they didn't do a very good job with her lines there. I don't remember for sure, but I think her dialogues aren't very good in general. And her role being "damsel in distress" for most of the show, you can't expect a lot from her.

The whole thing about Orihime going to a Hueco Mundo is an obvious plot device, if anything I felt it was awkwardly done. I think what they tried to show is that Ulquiorra manipulated Orihime, making her do his biding. But because of the poor execution it looked like Orihime played an active role in the whole business, which lead people to get irritated at her. Still, I don't see what people expected from her =) Fight Ulquiorra?

At any rate, all that I said here about Bleach is completely besides my original point =)
