I thought seinen is what that's good for adults without being childish. A ten year old might not get it but a teenager will understand

I thought it was a long anime. Okay I will give it a try. Will Lyon watch no 6?

seinen is anything that's marketed to adolescent boys or men who can read Kanji. But, what you think of it is open to interpretation.

I thought it's for adults so I look for seinen anime if I get tired of shounen. Don't you like seinen anime?

That is an interesting point of view, I like that. I'd say both HxH and DN aren't holding back at all. But Death Note clearly tries to appeal to younger audience with its simple symbolism, quirky characters (like L and his followers). And HxH follows shounen anime formula with story structure. So that would put them in a in-between area, or something.

By the way, I am planning to read Boruto sooner or later, so I'll get to see what you mean about no one getting hurt =)

Yes, I definitely agree. I feel like One Piece is a pretty good balance. It's not bloody, but it uses it on the right occasions, and it doesn't feel like it holds back at all.

Just FYI, the anime doesn't follow the manga at all. It's completely original. I don't even think the characters are the same age. Plus, I heard that the manga isn't all that good.

It is, yes, in a broad sense, but what I told you is the actual definition. I love seinen. Some of my favourite anime are seinen.

Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom, Hellsing Ultimate, Baccano, One Punch Man, Erased. I don't love these, but I think they are good: Elfen Lied, Tokyo Ghoul, Btooom, Bungou Stray Dogs.

Why don't you like Tokyo ghoul? Isn't it a popular anime?

Popular doesn't necessarily mean good. It's fine, but not good.

It reminded me of shiki. It emphasizes two sides of a messed up world

Probably not. In the near future I am only going to watch anime for which I can find German subs or dub. Don't have either for No 6 :(

I see. I feel like Shiki was a much better anime than Tokyo Ghoul. The pacing was horrible, and the characters were terrible.

German subs? Are you from germany? English is a good enough language to understand anime. If you can't stomach violence, then it's not the anime for you

Shiki executed horror in a better way. The characters were mostly not likeable, and uninteresting.

I agree with that shiki is good. Characters are not likable? Have you seen ken's friend? He tried to support ken and died. So ken wanted to come out after seeing ken die. Don't you think that's a really good emotional situation?

Can you give the exact name? I've no idea who you are talking about.
