Never heard of music videos used as advertisements for stuff? It's done all over the world for all kinds of products, and this is usually used for viral marketing on the internet. Even McDonald's released one cool animated ad recently that's about 2 minutes in length.



The message is delivered through the visuals, and as far as music videos are concerned I pay more attention to what's actually happening on screen so if it's a good enough song I don't really mind.

I was disappointed because it didn't even have subs man.
I was expecting that much from the video, even if it's in Japanese man.

Here's the thing: almost every Japanese video doesn't have subs. So it's to be expected. Not meant for English audience. We just happen to watch it.

My perception is clouded as all the anime episodes have subs man.
I have watched only anime before now and when you start with something you would expect the same.

That's because the ones who subtitle it are American companies who have licensed them. It has nothing to do with Japan.

Yes man and I didn't know that at first and now I expect everything in subs.

who the fuk doesn't like amazing visuals? i don't mute anything and many people wouldn't go on mute. why do you think attractive people are there in the commercials?

Yeah sure it'll maybe work on them not the group that immediately change the channel when it goes on break.
