So I stumbled upon this ad which was released only a few days back, made for LOTTE snacks. It sort of went viral in Japan, and is made by Studio Bones. Directed by Rie Matsumoto, who made Kekkai Sensen(amazing animation and a kickass anime).
The ad is incredibly well-animated and looks completely amazing from start to finish.

The boy is a kid so makes sense that the girl acts more mature but yeah good to know you liked it.

Yeah but I didn't really think a lot about that it's just that it makes sense that the older party here is more magnanimous.

I did see this product from time to time.
Chocopie is a lotte product. I never thought it's an international product.

This is very sweet man. I like the visuals more than anything. If it's in English it would have been awesome.
I like the Japanese song but I prefer English.

Chocopie is also the only Lotte product I've heard of.

Well it was made by Japanese animators so couldn't have asked for English. Plus Lotte was founded in Japan so makes sense that it's in Japanese.

Indeed.
It's available everywhere. I am positive that I saw Ghana chocolate before.

I understand but I don't like it much. English should be used and at least they should translate it somehow.
I never knew it's foundation is in Japan.

Maybe they don't care about the English-speaking audience, since it's made for Japanese people?

I am just saying man. They can make it for Japanese people but they could include us. Anime isn't just limited to Japan now. Everyone pays attention to it.

Sure, but I don't know why you are asking me that. I'm just making conjectures.

Sorry man. Just letting out my frustration a little. I didn't mean to make you feel bad or uncomfortable.
I like Japanese culture but I can't learn the language and it's too hard.

This is more like a campaign for their 70th anniversary. Obviously the TV spot would be a lot smaller, probably below 30 seconds. I'm sure there's a version of it on the Internet but I can't type Katakana or Hiragana so I can't search it.
Never heard of music videos used as advertisements for stuff? It's done all over the world for all kinds of products, and this is usually used for viral marketing on the internet. Even McDonald's released one cool animated ad recently that's about 2 minutes in length.

The message is delivered through the visuals, and as far as music videos are concerned I pay more attention to what's actually happening on screen so if it's a good enough song I don't really mind.
