Well I suppose I can understand to a certain extent but some people just really do over do it

An action?

I'm guessing there was a lot of killing and stuff in it
yes and even the main protagonists are a bunch of firearm suppliers
and probably you can imagine how violent it could be.

Yeah it sounds like something guys would be all over lol

Well.. if you talk about mainstream series, the main protagonist have burden to become example or figure for the audiences, so they should be nice and stand for justice

Yes it should be like that, you want them become bad example for the audience? No right haha..
Luffy.. well i don't know much about him, but i assumed he and his team always be the one who kick the bad guy ass, that alone explain a lot about where he stand (despite things that come from his mouth)

he tried to steal from people before
and after he saved them from another big enemy and it's always about ethics with him

No no no. No matter what Luffy did, he's the good guy who always ended up doing good things, he's mainstream shonen protagonist, he won't stray from fixed formula

he is a wanted criminal in the anime
do you think that is a good thing? his own grandfather will catch him, if he finds him.

I don't know much about One Piece but i assumed that it's safe to say that he got bounty on his head because the result of his good deeds, anyway.. his opponents are marines or government officials. Corrupt or not, when you best up marines or government officials, then you got bounty or your head. Try it, let's say there is corrupt police in your place, go beat him up, you still thrown into jail
[/quote]

no that's different
his opponents are good guys mostly and there are many good people too. but even marines got bad people in it.

Okay so who are those 'good guys' opponents? I'll do my research on them

instead of just research, you can pick the manga
it will keep you occupied for a bit.
