Why 25 episodes for small anime?

Well if you just look at some of the recent animes that have aired in the past year or so, a good chunk of them have been 12 episodes.

I liked another anime and the story is quite good and I don't know any other good anime and finding anime can be a tedious task.

it's an ideal number. not too big and not to small may be that's why many anime got that number for them? you shouldn't think about little details like this
