What to be nonchalant when someone keeps on insulting your favourite anime?

They are doing that on purpose man.
I have tried ignoring them for well over two weeks and it's not getting any better. It's starting to annoy me. Anyone know how to deal with this?

It’s more like people like and dislike different things. Also you have to ask yourself the question. Is this guy annoying because he’s badmouthing something you like, or is he annoying because he’s being a dick?

That is kind of the point of picking on someone, to get a negative reaction out of them. If you have some merch out, and someone walks up to you and says “that show sucks” and if you respond with something like “no it’s not!”, got them!

If you respond with something like “I know”, they don’t really know how to respond, because you basically deviated from the script.
