I have watched the first episode today and I am a little disappointed in this.
I have expected more and I was under the impression that we would be witnessing how an actual doll, slowly started thinking about various things. I never expected an actual human getting treated like a weapon and nothing more than a tool.

Wait this makes no sense to me how can you expect an anime to have a plot that you imagined without even watching it?

I have read the synopsis and some users recommended it to me, saying the gist of the story and how good the animation is.
So, I have imagined a story based on that information.

Well I get it if you don't like how the story is progressing after watching a couple of episodes but setting yourself up for expectations without having watched it is strange. But yeah suit yourself.

I also thought she was going to be a robot or doll kind of deal but that had nothing to do with whether I enjoyed the show or not.

I remember hoping for the major to be alone so that they could reunite

I just heard too many users referring to the main protagonist as doll. So I have assumed something else. Anyway, it's a short anime, so I will try to watch a few more episodes soon.

It is a beautiful anime man and it's sad too.
It broke my heart when I learned for the first time that the major Gilbert is dead. I think it's in first episode.

I don't mind gore all that much like Clara, but I wouldn't choose an anime just for gore.
I am talking about the actual story of the anime.
