itachi can't defeat him and he was the hokage

Nah.. More like Itachi's dad and Naruto's dad are in the same generation.. Also, kakashi was like a senior to Itachi.. so, he was more of Kakshi's generation.. I mean, if obito is so freaking powerful enough ( Like he was able to play the role of Madara behind that orange mask and manipulate many powerful characters ), Itachi who's considered to have more power than him ( Also, his full potential remains unknown ).. is obviously gonna Rekt those guys..

But tbh, Itachi surely had all potential to be the Hokage.. But his situation made him take a turnover and becoming a mess..

Minato was barely holding up with obito.. Minato's full potential is not shown either though or so I feel.. Basically, you can't predict the outcome.

kakashi had a very hard time in fighting with obito. how can itachi ever defeat him?
generation is like when they lived in the same era. it doesn't matter with the age.

The fact that you underestimated Itachi's powers shows that you don't his Powers enough.. Itachi can use Mangyeko sharingan , Amaterasu, susano, Izanagi, Izanamai .. And Izanami is an eternal trap if he uses.. Itachi can cast eternal genjustu which can't be escaped easily and he can feign his death by activating Izanami and probably tricking obito into thinking he's dead... Plus Itachi wits outwits obito any day....
And I am pretty sure, I detailed on the explanations of the timeline, generation stuff in my last post.. Like Itachi belongs to which generation and stuffs like that..

There are many characters who can defeat Itachi, including Sasuke.
They are just too powerful and are reincarnations of the first hokage and that Uchiha leader

i am just being practical. izanami needs will contact and obito is too smart to get into an infinite loop and he never trusted itachi completely.
it's not easy to take down obito and he is the mastermind for everything
 
itachi is powerful but naruto is a good and he can't be defeated.
even sasuke after getting the eternal mangekyo sharingan couldn't defeat naruto and itachi wouldn't stand a chance against him

Black zetsu can be called Mastermind... Not Obito and not even Madara... Itachi had the brains of a Hokage at young age whereas obito was a dork... His life changing incident is when he saw Rin getting killed which unlocked his potential... Moving on to the fight though, it all depends on the circumstances in which they fight ... Itachi was ill but his genjutsu skills were on par with Madara and it can be broke by his blood relative.. He handed over Amaterasu and susano to Sasuke... He let Sasuke kill him... He can fucking use genjustu if the target sees just his finger.... And crows too... In his prime and with killing intent, Itachi can pummel obito... All this time, I have been saying only obito though but as 10 tail Jinchuriki, that's a different story..

you are very detailed in your information and i agree that itachi can be quite powerful but he didn't do much after his reincarnation. taking out kabuto isn't great and i got disappointed.

How is it not great? The Edo Tensei is the major force of the enemy apart from the Jinchuuriki and White Zetsu. And the Jinchuuriki themselves are Edo Tensei anyway. So taking him out would mean destroying 90% of the strength of the enemy, which he did. I mean he did almost eliminate Madara, it's just that Madara is too strong to be held by Edo Tensei.

it's not enough and he didn't fight very hard. he never showed his love for sasuke much and till the end, he reminded a coldhearted bas#ard. i don't get why everyone likes him

I'm not sure if eliminating 90% of the force isn't big enough that what is for you.
Two he point-blank told Sasuke "I will always love you". Don't know what more you want him to say.

he slaughtered all his family and he took away the choice for sasuke and made him suffer for years. sasuke is the only survivor of the uchiha clan and how do you think it's a good choice?
