Poorest protagonist in anime

All the protagonists are not rich but most of them are not poor. They just eat whatever they can and make money however they want. Do you know any protagonist who is genuinely poor man? Struggling enough to keep food on the table

i have seen this anime movie about beggars like literally homeless people. and i don't remember that anime movie name but i think @MadaraUchiha recommended it to me back then and i was talking about where homeless people got a small baby and they tried to take care of it
