i am not here to provide entertainment for them and they would never know how good anime can be

I have friends who know about my anime watching hobby and gives me a hard time for it
 
I'll never outgrow it, I may get tried of it eventually but I know I can watch more classic anime that have more content to it.
 
Nah I mean I do outgrow some genres(anything that's edgy) but no I don't see myself outgrowing anime especially with each season having promising new anime, along with so many old anime I've yet to watch.

I get bored of anime genres man but I don't outgrow them

I mean to say, I take breaks man. After a while when I get back to that genre, it wouldn't be boring for me

Right I do the same as well. I often alternate between action/adventure, fantasy/military, slice of life/romance/school. Or just between intense and light-hearted shows.
For now I'm trying every show from the top 250 most popular anime on MAL.

Cool man. I tried that until I come across this popular space anime.
I forgot the name but I didn't like it and then abandoned the Mal list after that

Of the top of my head the space anime I know are Gurren Lagann, Space Dandy, Space Brothers, Aldonoah Zero.

Space brothers man. I watched it like 2 episodes and dropped it.

Right. It only has like 100,000 members and its popularity is at 908. I've heard of it but it was never in my radar. Don't think I'll watch it either.
