Are there any interesting apps? For gaming or for just passing time? I am not picky and I am getting bored of games. So any new game or an interesting game like there is no game.. Would be fine.
Can you guys recommend some interesting apps for me?

If you're into Tetris clones, you might want to check out "vitetris".
Basically Tetris in the command line, and it works surprisingly well.

There'll only be no sound howevs, but at least it supports netplay.

A Tetris clone is a clone of a Tetris game.
No idea how you don't know what I mean with that?

Obviously it's a game, expect you play it in the command line.
The term "app" is extremely broad, it can refer to any kind of user interactable software, since it's just an abreviation to "application".

I see. There aren't any technical people except you, Claraviolet and Davis. So, it's hard to keep up with your technical knowledge. I will try to install it today. Thank you

I use my phone mostly while commutting, I hate typing on a touch screen at all costs.
I prefer a real keyboard by all means.

isn't your surface pro a touchscreen one, do you attach a keyboard for it too?

All Surface Pro tablets have touch screens.
And yes, though I normally attach a full USB keyboard whenever possible, the type cover doubles as a screen protector.

i don't usually get why people prefer the keyboard instead of touch screen but as long as you like it that way, it's good

Because typing on a real keyboard is simply easier, it's less likely to make mistakes in every single word since you actually feel each key, and if you make a mistake on a keyboard, it's far easier to fix that compared to a touch screen which requires you to be 10000000% accurate with where to put your finger at.
Touch screen keyboards might be nice for short, simple text messages, but definitely not for 10+ hours of non-stop programming, not even for writing emails.

But I also see my younger sister type really fast and really accurately on her iPhone (which is newer and smaller than mine) and make far more mistakes on the occasions she uses her laptop, so I guess it depends on your use case, and what you're used to.

But being someone who used MS-DOS on my fathers' PC when using a PC for the first ever time, and then Linux on my own first PC before Linux even got a chance to become suitable to people who have never used the command line before, and started programming a couple years after that, I guess touch screen typing is just far beyond my abilities.

i make mistakes while using a keyboard or a touch screen so i don't get the user case thing. but varying a keyboard around isn't something that i would do. don't you use windows at all?

Use case means the tasks a given person usually does on their computer or in their application.
For example, there's a person who uses MS Excel for creating simple tables, and another user that uses MS Excel to make a semi-automated invoice template.
MS Excel has 2 different use cases in this case.

I understand the varying keyboards part, but it's not something you would do on a day to day basis any way.
I use a Japanese Logicool keyboard, while all my colleagues use a US International keyboard (the default layout in the Netherlands), and since the layouts both differ a lot with special character locations, backspace size, and space size, they generally have a really hard time typing on my keyboard, but the same thing applies when I type on theirs.

And no, I don't use Windows and I don't even know why I should (other than for console game development, which is pending for after 2 web projects are done any way).
Windows is too hard and frustrating to use as an every day operating system, which is why I prefer Linux.

i think i got what's a user case is. keyboard only you can type easily sounds cool and isn't windows easy to use?
i thought that's the reason why there are so many people who use windows

By the way, here's my own summary on today's mobile market I've made some time ago:
700b47d0e73d35f7.png

To translate some things:
???????????? = mainstream universe.
???????? = parallel universe.

??????????????? = Updates are too slow!
iOS??????? = I'll switch to iOS.

??????????? = Customising is impossible!
Android??????? = I'll switch to Android.
