Main drawback of one piece anime

I think it's animation is the main drawback man. People don't pick it up because of the animation and then the length.
It's too long.

What do you mean by animation? Like the quality?

And yeah, its length is starting to become an issue. I don't think the total will hit 2000 episodes but could be in a near 500 range.

Pacing more than the animation. I'm kinda used to anime having a lot of still-frames, etc but it's horribly paced. Each episode takes forever to get over. Not to mention every fight involving Luffy post-time-skip has been dragged out to eternity.
I think pre-time-skip One Piece is a lot of fun with the right amount of action, comedy and drama.

Art and quality man.
I recommended it to some people but they never picked it up

I agree man. Post time skip is all about big wigs like big mom. So it's to be expected

When I tried getting back into it after my 3 year break from it I just cringed a lot from the scenes which I used to find funny. And then there's the problem of so little happening per episode and they try to inflate the episode run time with 2 and a half minute intro songs, recaps and title screens. Plus it became so fan service heavy. I couldn't watch any more.

Jokes are good only for the first time man. After that, they aren't funny but I get you. Even I don't like how, more than 5-6 minutes in every episode are taken up by songs and recap.

and it is still the most popular anime ever.
we shouldn't complain about these things and i would hate it if they drop this anime

Not even close it's no where near as popular as Dragon Ball in the 90's or Naruto in the 2000's or SAO, AoT, BNHA in this decade.

Uh nope never not in terms of sales or breaking the internet or a video going viral or in terms of cosplays or events or anything. One Piece anime has never been the most popular during anytime.
And I'm fine with comparing it to Naruto but Dragon Ball? Really? There's nothing that's ever gonna get more popular than Dragon Ball.

That's the manga. And only in Japan. Outside Japan Naruto, Dragon Ball have all sold more.
Well DBZ got over but there was the recently concluded DB Super, which got a movie recently which made a record amount of money, and is gonna get another anime series soon.

but their revenue didn't meet one piece sales when they consider everything and i like db but it's time for it to end.
i don't see people enjoying it like attack on titan

The fact that the recent Broly movie made millions of dollars in the USA is pretty indicative that people are craving for more content.
And no that doesn't mean anything. And again, it's the One Piece manga in Japan. Not the anime. The anime is kinda shit it's never gonna become that popular. Plus Japan is always different when it comes to what's the most popular. Kemono Friends was the most popular anime of 2017 in Japan but nobody cared about it internationally.

i am starting to get what you mean. japan is the top source for anime and if something has popularity in japan, then it would never be dropped it discontinued.
i have learned it lately after the bleach anime drop

It used to be like that but it's changing lately. MHA has a very very big audience internationally for example but its not that popular in Japan.

it should change but if it's not popular in japan, there is always a risk that it could be dropped without any notice.
it's just the fact

Nah that's never gonna happen not with the popularity MHA has.

i know but you can't be very sure of anything.
international users stream anime and read from illegal manga websites and they don't generate enough revenue to keep it going in the long run

No MHA is an event it's always the focus whenever it's airing. Everybody was talking about United States of Smash when season 3 was airing.
