I started my vacation today, my wife and I have been working on getting our place decluttered and have been spring cleaning lately. So it was a productive day and I got to relax though too. It was nice sleeping in until 9:30. xD

Well, I've had an interesting week.
I thought I was going to loose my forum because I couldn't afford to pay the web hosting fees for another year. But a true generous heart came through and now we don't have to worry about loosing our digital home.
I have learned more than I ever needed to know about Seed Oils. I am never buying the hummus my work sells ever again. I'll make my own. I got the chickpeas, the sesame seeds and the olive oil. Got some lime juice too. Tomorrow, I'll get some bulbs of garlic and when I get home, I'm throwing it all in the handy-dandy food processor. While I'm doing that, I'm baking some fresh rye bread. I might even make some garlic butter.
And I was able to write about a paragraph on my anime fiction story. I know, I'm not making very much progress. I need rest. Lots of rest. I'm so burned out because of all the political BS going on right now.

My day has been good so far, I'm a bit under the weather because my vacation is coming to an end sooner than I thought but hey I have to return to work eventually. It's also my 36th birthday today so I'm looking forward to celebrating it here in a little bit.

Thank you I appreciate it! My birthday was nice, my wife and I went to the Sonic Speed Cafe the day after my birthday and had a blast. As for my day today, it wasn't bad. I had to work but I got a lot of work done. I'm afraid tomorrow is going to suck though.

Day four of my vacation!....
I've spent the past couple of days just recovering and resting. I've managed to pick up Savage Worlds (SWADE), and I'm truly excited that this game may finally unlock the epic Magical Girl Cat-fight battle that I have been wanting to do for-like-ever! Specifically with the Super Powers expansion, and a couple of optional rule changes already listed in the book, I may finally have a system that the magic users aren't totally exhuasted after like four Rounds.
I found another anime: Magical Girl Spec Ops Asuka. It's pretty good so far. Some gore, but that's to be expected with a darker Magical Girl series.
I'm also still working on building my own TTRPG. I've finally nailed down the core Dice Mechanic. Now I'm figuring out the Opposition mechanic. I also know that I want to use Cards in my game, so I'm brainstorming options for that as well.
Today is my partner's birthday! So I'm baking a coconut cake with cream cheese frosting. Later, when the shop opens, I'll be visiting my local comic book store and seeing if I can find anything Supernatural or horror based for her. I've got like $10 to my name until Friday. Let's hope I have enough.
I recently got a hold of 55 pounds of 00 Pizza Flour. I made my first pizza with it. Definitely need to start measuring with a scale instead of measuring cups. Turned out okay, but I think I overcooked the crust a bit. Also made some chocolate chip cookies with this flour. OMG. Next level, soft insides, just a tiny bit of crunch on the surface. Perfection. I'll have to make another batch because these two dozen will probably be gone by the end of the day.

Don't sell yourself short. You may be able to offer that unique piece that just clutches onto somebody's heart.
Just be warned, using Etsy, there's small fees. Not so much of a bother if you're not doing Print-on-Demand / Drop Shipping, but still something to keep in mind.

My day was pretty good, it was a productive day at work for me. We posted everyone's stats on the bulletin board in the office, we're all going by flowers to remain anonymous. I'm in the top 10, around 5 or 6 overall so I'm happy about that.
