Let's talk about your day!

Sorry to hear that and I don't get why they block people most of the time.
Did they give any reason?
Oh, it gets better. But no, the Mod said that I was participating in unfriendly groups that squealch LGBTQ+ members. I replied, stating that I LGBTQ+, and invited them to review my post history. Nah, I was muted for 28 days.

As I said, it gets better, because the very next day, I said something reminding everybody that violence is inevitable when people are backed into a corner with nothing to lose, and I was perma-banned from all of Reddit for inciting violence. LOL. Imagine that, little me, barely able to walk, can't hit the broad side of a barn with anything.... yeah, me the pacifist inciting violence. Oh well. I'm completely done with Reddit.

Oh well, time to work on my new ttRPG...

I encountered something similar to that before but it's related to defending the black community more.
I just made a new account after that just to read stories but I don't post anything. It's a toxic environment but people are getting more toxic.

It's a bad day.
On my way out of a store, I met an unreasonable person. I want to tell them to fk off but couldn't

had a rough day
my back is hurting and this sharp shooting pain isn't going away
Take it easy the rest of the day. I hope your back feels better soon! My day was fine, I got a hour lunch but I had to go early. I usually go to lunch at 11:30 but I had to go at 10, so that made the day drag on a bit.

thank you hun.
sorry to hear that but wouldn't you be really hungry by dinner time?

a genuinely bad day.
i think i might get fired from the diner
Yikes I'm sorry to hear about that. :( I never worked in the restaurant business let alone fast food but it sounds super stressful. I used to work in retail and that wasn't fun. My day was fine, I hope you're having a better day today.

I had a day like that...granted decades ago, back when I worked Help Desk. I got fired for having a "low quota" on my resolution calls. Nevermind the fact that I was acting as a liaison between the customer and our Development staff, fixes that often took several days to weeks to resolve. Anyway, I was totally burned out of that job, and felt a wave of relief after I calmed down from the emotional tsunami. This was 2007, so unfortunately, for the next three-and-a-half years, I searched for any job I could get... landed me in warehouse work. Truth be told, it's a step above food service work. I attempted a brief stint in 2021, and quickly rediscovered my reasoning why I vowed to never work food service ever again. It only took three weeks.

Anyway, if you do end up being terminated, it's not the end, and there's probably quite a bit of positivity to the temporary ending. Take some time to discover what you want to do with your life, then the hard part is figuring out the plan to make that happen. (This coming from somebody who desperately needs to take her own advice....) And I understand how brutal this current job market is. But I think some positivity is right around the corner.
