Is there a future where the standard 12-episode will be obsolete?

do you think we will keep on getting these short and new anime episode count series

24 was pretty standard, and it got cut to 12, so anything more would be less than 12 which for some would be bad news.

I think some shows could really benefit from that. With better production quality they could go with the OVA or movie feel that isn't there in usual anime. But I don't expect it to ever be the norm.

but we do see much character development in short series.

Not sure when it will be but good anime need some more episodes for story building.

and i am sure we will get that count soon enough lol. don't worry and i hope they wouldn't stop with just 12.

I think 12 is pretty good but for some like the really good ones 12 wouldn't be sufficient in my opinion
