It got too repetitive as it went along.

I got tired of:
“oh look it’s Naraku let’s fight him”.
“Oh no, he ran away”
>spends 14 episodes looking for him.
“oh look it’s Naraku let’s fight him”.
“Oh no, he ran away”

Also half the dialog is:
“Inuyasha!”
“Kagome!”
“Inuyasha!”
“Kagome”
“Sit boy!”

It's really not an adult anime but yes it was one of the first anime I watched. Funny and had goodish action so it is a decent entry anime.

Exactly, I wouldn't categorically place the anime as an adult series because there wasn't much to mark it out as such. It didn't carry the age limit description for viewers if I remembered correctly.
