If given a choice at birth.... Would you still choose your current gender?

I don't think I will choose to be a woman...
Well, as a south Asian .... Being a woman is too hard and there are just too many restrictions...
People don't really care about your feelings or opinions when it comes to major life decisions.
Things are changing but it's not to the extent where you get enough freedom to make decisions for your own life.
In fact, all the woman I have come across... Wished they were born as men.... To live freely and independently.
May be it's just a region thing... Not sure.
So, what about you guys?

I don't think this is a regional phenomenon. Masculine privilege has spread across the entire world for hundreds, if not, thousands of years.

I personally, would love to live in a world where everybody is treated equally with respect and dignity, where people can live the way they choose. We have a very long way to go before evolving to that level, though.

Hard to say, I kind of want to be a female sometimes, but most of the time I'm happy with being a male.
