Dunno. There are major downsides to the manga compared with anime, inconsistent quality is one of them. But I became a fan of Togashi as an artist, so I can't miss an opportunity to recommend his manga =) You go for the anime though, it is fine.

So yeah, some animus are good, some manga are good.

Dunno. You might be better off reading books then, they tend to have better story =) Ask @Shaurya for a suggestion when you see her. She knows everything about books.

Shingeki no Kyojin's art looks like crap......I forced myself to read only because I wanted to know the ending of the story....Art does play an important role......It's the fundamental difference that separates a manga and a book.....
