How do I stop someone who wouldn't listen?

i really don't know why my niece wouldn't listen to me after all this time. she reached out to me and said how her boyfriend just up and left her. i thought she would want us to be close again after the bad experience.
turns out she just wants money from me. i barely have anything left where would i get her 10k dollars? i think she would just turn around and give it to that fuker

please tell me how do i stop her. i can't see her hurt herself and she turned 36. old enough to understand obsession and true love
