Nah.. in my experience someone becomes an aethist when something horrible happens to them... So.. In future.. If something good happens unexpectedly.. They might get some belief that they are not alone....
Actually..I am in between. I don't trust the existence of good and I don't deny it either...

Oh wow you think god is about feelings and mind set? The brain is complex yet fragile and imperfect and it can be influenced by physical, chemical, electrical, psychological, societal factors. That is why believing something intangible like feelings as proof of god is hilarious and sad.

If your parents are not atheists...then you would have grown up believing in the god right? So, something must have happened that made you lost your belief...well...that's what I thought till now....and looks like that's not the case here ;_;
