He is doing an awesome job and I am too late to even kiss the color goodbye forever.

You should tag them man.
People don't respond most of the time unless you tag. When I make new threads, I try to tag people

So you just get started with manga and anime, then you come to the right place, the people here are experienced, you can get yourself good references easily
