I'm pretty much open to any genre as long as the anime/manga itself has a good compelling story. Of course, I'm not into hentai or eechi. Those types of animes focus too much on the fanservice (hence their genre) and less on the story.

I prefer fighting/action/adventure, comedy and mystery anime, although I will watch anything that has a good storyline and decent animation.

my favorite genre is shonen ai. hard core is good but i like romance better. after shonen ai, i like yaoi better. after yaoi, i might pick shonen or action genre.
