Do you trust anime reviews a lot?

I don't trust them too much man.
I used to trust them a lot but not anymore and I am sure many people would try to give biased reviews no matter how much they try to make them, non-biased.

I trust what I see with my own eyes. An anime review might pique my interest and get me to watch something, but I'm the only person who decides whether I like something. That being said, I've come at least one reviewer whose reviews I pretty much trust, mostly because even if they don't like something, they'll explicitly say it might just be because it's not their cup of tea - Glass Reflection Youtube channel. Anime America is just fun to watch.

What do you judge an anime by default?
Do you trust any specific reviewers?

Depend on my opinion about the genre, but usually i believe them as good

That's great.
Usually people need a lot of trust to believe something without checking it out.

Well.. i rarely said a series is bad without checking it out (even just a little)

That's unexpected.
Even I tend to say a lot of things about the series, which I haven't watched.

Really? But you sounds like you have good judgement

Based on what I hear from so many people, I try to come to a conclusion as well.
It happens sometimes.

I don’t, I got burned out on anime reviews like 10 years ago, that and I find community run reviews like MAL are hogwash. Tons of people still treat anime like a singular genre, and if you don’t like a certain genre, maybe you shouldn’t watch those genres anymore. If you don’t like Isekais, maybe you should stop watching and reviewing every Isekai that comes out.

Give me example, what series you judge based on opinion you heard from people

I haven't watched Gintama but I am sure there is a lot about it
According to Angel, it's not worth watching.
