Do you think really good visuals in anime can overcome average plotline?

i used to think this as no way but lately i have been changing my mind
sometimes visuals are just crazy good

Maybe on first watch, but I think if I was to go back and rewatch the plot inconsistencies would probably jump out more the more I rewatched.

Eh not really, I watch anime for the plot not really for the visuals. If the story isn't good and the animation looks cool, I still wouldn't watch it.
