Do you think anime cosplay is cooler than other cosplay?

and i am a little biased lol so i can't say much about it but i really hope we can see more anime cosplays.

I personally find anime cosplay to be more interesting than other types of cosplay. The amount of creativity that people use to make themselves look like anime characters is fascinating to me. Other types of cosplay can be neat, but anime is especially fun to see.

Anime cosplay can have some way over the top costumes but I am a hardcore pirate cosplayer so I would have to say no.

there are pirate anime too
like one piece and you pretty much get all the pirate cosplays from that anime lol

True and as much as I love one pice they rarly dress like 1500-1800s pirates. Most of them dress in very modern style.

I can't give full verdict about the cosplay that is more cooler than the other. I've not taking much of my time to watch anime movies, I'm just getting to watch more to grow my animé experience. The ones I've taken my time to watch is cool, and entertaining indeed.

Honestly, I don't really care about anime inspired cosplay, as it just seems too weird to show what a character looks like in real life, unless the Anime character is actually based on a real world item.

Anime character are mostly exaggerated. Like with extra powers, knowledge etc. That creates a heroic impression of the character to the users.
