Do you get annoyed by phone calls even from the legit businesses?

Having worked a call center-- software support helpdesk, I really don't use a phone for talking. I'll text, I'll email, I'll internet chat, but actually using my voice? Nah, I'm good!

Isn't it easier to communicate using an audio call or a video call?

I use Gboard, so I've got voice to text if I really want to. But I don't mind slowing things down to type out what I want to say. And Video? *shrieks* I'm butt-ugly! Pass on that!

I don’t do video calls either unless they’re from a family member.

I've got one friend, from my high school years, way back in the day, who insists on using Facebook Facetime, or whatever their video calling software is. It's annoying, because I really don't like using video.

I'm with ya, I ignore anyone that calls me on Facebook facetime and I tell them to call me, or text me. It's like people are noisy and want to see what you're doing when they facetime you.

Yes I do get annoyed at them lol, I have phone anxiety though so that's probably why. I also get spam calls quite often, I haven't got as much this year than I did last year. I prefer to email or contact my doctor via apps if I can.

I totally get the phone anxiety thing. I world Software Support for eight years. The phone....*shudders* I'd much rather just text. Unfortunately, my physical health may put me back in the phone booth, because I literally can't stand to do my job anymore. It's crippling me. So, now I have to brave this horrible job market, AND be nearly two decades out of current and relevant work experience. Oh the joys of living in the modern world!
