Do you drop anime just because you don't like how the story is progressing?

To be honest, I did do that.
I haven't still picked naruto after itachi's death. The second death I mean.
I thought the plot is pretty predictable and I lost the interest.
What about you guys?

Oh.... When I saw your name for the thread, I thought you would say seeing sarcastic yet again.
Glad that you got my point kiddo.

By the way.....I am gonna get some itachi stickers for my phone soon

If its just an arc ill push through it but if it is consistently bad ill drop it. I know a few people that absolutely have to complete a series once they start it if they like it or not out of some weird obligation which i cant understand.

Well if you asked more questions worth answering you'll see me doing it a lot.

Well, I don't drop an anime that easily either... Unless it's very bad and I just can't handle it... Only then I would stop watching it altogether.
Otherwise I would watch it till the end

Amaterasu!!!
You asked for it

What the other two said, if it's just one arc, and just some elements then yeah I don't mind otherwise I drop the whole thing. But usually I tend to finish long anime because I think they usually settle into a status quo, like Fairy Tail, it's total mediocrity from start to finish.
It's mostly a combination of stuff, the animation sucking, the characters becoming annoying or the story becoming boring. Like Gosick or Guilty Crown or Claymore. Although the first two have good animation.

Gosick and claymore are interesting anime.
I really don't get why you decided to drop them in the first place kiddo.
Claymore got a strong female lead ya know

Well, she is strong without being girly. I suppose women would like to see, female characters who are strong and are not tsundere or giggle too much.
Anyway, as for gosick, it's a sad story. You should have enjoyed it after completing at least 4 episodes.

Gosick was the anime that made me sick of the statement "it gets better at episode 10452" and I kept on watching it because peopke told me and I finally dropped it at episode 18.

It's just 25 episodes anime.
I really don't get what's there to not like it. It's a detective anime like any other

Yeah, the "detective" part isn't really clever and it's really stupid and boring, like if a 7-year-old wrote it, and it was made the best anime studio out there(unfortunately).
Also the guy shouting "Victoricaa" was far worse than even Big Mom's "Weddingu Caikee".

Oh god. I have seen it like... Years ago.
I do remember some stuff but i believe it's the same as mob psycho ya know.
And... Don't compare big mom's wedding cake..... It's really horrible.
Also did you think that girl was annoying?

The girl was your typical tsundere, which you claim to hate.
And "it's the same as Mob Psycho 100" are you kidding me? How? Name one thing.

Yes and that's why I was surprised to know that you dropped it.
I thought she was annoying but the backstory about her mother was just sad.

Mob psycho and gosick, got cool animation, have a bit of humor now and then, got great endings :/
If you watched just 7 more episodes after watching all those 18 episodes, you might have liked the entire series

:sigh:
Well, there are things that one just can't understand. I never liked gintama and dropped it around episode 75. Even though it is supposed

If you think that's bad I watched 90 episodes of katekyo hitman reborn because faze told me it was good and it gets really good at some late arc. I reached it and it was still shit. Biggest regret of my anime watching career.
