DC movies vs Marvel movies...aka Justice league vs Avengers

Which side makes the better movies or characters? I DC at it's best makes my some of the best movies like with the dark Knight, Man of steel and dark knight rises yet but Marvel makes consistently good movies while the justice league movies starting with batman vs superman were kinda not very good.

If it was 2010 or something I'd have said DC in a heartbeat but now Marvel is kicking DC's ass year after year.
And this is only with respect to the MCU. Other franchises have been hit or miss. X-Men especially. The Amazing Spider-Man movies sucked. The Raimi Trilogy is one of my childhood favourites(even the third one is something I'd still watch even though it's kinda mediocre at best).
Favourite superhero movies would still be The Dark Knight Trilogy by a mile, but MCU has been consistently putting out good movies for the past 10 years, and the DCEU has been alright at best. I only truly liked Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Man of Steel was fine for me except the climax which went far too long and it was trying too hard to be Batman Begins. BvS didn't age well, and Suicide Squad as well. Justice League kinda sucked.
Not that I like every single movie in the MCU though, I don't like Iron Man 2 and 3, The Incredible Hulk, Thor: The Dark World, and honestly I find Thor 1, Captain America: The First Avenger, Guardians 2, Black Panther(horrible climax though) and Spider-Man: Homecoming to be fine, I'd never rewatch them.

I'm a die hard Justice League lover so obviously whoever produced them I will choose. The Justice League movie was awesome I absolutely loved it on the other hand I'm not much of a fan of the dark knight movies itself. I find the movie to be to gloomy. Actors and stuff are good but I find the atmosphere and feel of the movie itself is just not captivating

Marvel has a lot more going for them and they had a solid plan, unlike DC which they kind of rushed out their Justice League movie in a half ass way.

Hopefully DC can turn things around.

Man of Steel has always been a polarising movie so I'm not gonna argue about that and I liked Wonder Woman a lot, and I thought Homecoming was fine. It felt inconsequential to me, you know and too light-hearted. I love the MCU and the fact that it's funny but this was like he didn't face any challenge whatsoever and was cruising through. I prefer the original 2 Spider-Man movies over this honestly, and even the action sequences are far superior.
As far as Black Panther is concerned, come on man you need to go back and watch that climax fight. It's so bad. Plus the story itself was overly familiar to me(or Indian audiences in general) it was like Bahubali and The Lion King mashed up. And I didn't like Bahubali so watching something retread the same story was kinda monotonous so my friends and I ended up making fun of the whole movie when we were watching it.
You didn't like the young professor X? He's a phenomenal actor though. I didn't like X-Men Apocalypse, but First Class is truly awesome and Days of Future Past is pretty cool as well.
I'd probably say that I like the solo movies in DCEU and the team movies sucked for me(Suicide Squad, BvS, JL).

No, also because of the stuff I mentioned after, the familiar story and everything being predictable. Killmonger was the only good part of the movie. T'Challa himself was so boring with no personality, which is also surprising since the best part of MCU movies tend to be the hero.
That twist was something I really liked but for me the jokes themselves didn't land as much, Peter's life was a bit too easy going and the action sequences were like okay at best.
For me Spider-Verse was a far far better Spider-Man movie.

I've yet to watch spider verse. Do you think the upcoming movies will be any good? Captain marvel which looks decent and shazam which looks like ass. Endgame will obviously be great.

I honestly didn't know that a hero called shazam existed before this trailer so I'm not a knowledgeable fan of him at all but the tone of the trailer just doesn't seem like a serious movie and I'm not diggin it. Captain marvel doesn't look that strong so not sure why she's teased as the trump card thought that doesn't matter I guess no need to guess too much from just a few trailers.

He's a source of dispute between DC and Marvel actually. Apparently he was called Captain Marvel before, and due to copyright issues DC had to change the name to Shazam. He's also a pretty old superhero, I think he was created around the same time as Superman and Batman.
Anyway since Shazam is a kid as an adult I think the fun tone of the movie is appropriate.

I did hear about Captain Marvel being an OP character and I hope she isn't like Super-Man. One great thing about the MCU is that almost every hero(save for maybe Thor) is grounded and doesn't have limitless powers.

They didn't even show any villain in shazam that's also why I am not interested yet if it's gonna be about fighting robbers.

It's an origin story so there's probably gonna be a villain introduced half-way into the movie. Besides we are gonna get a movie based on Black Adam after this, played by The Rock, who is the primary antagonist to Shazam.
