Characters that drink too much

We have kana from fairy tail, there are others too in that anime but I forgot. Jirayiya drinks a lot too and Tsunade as well. There are many characters
 
I wouldn't say drinking obsessively but there are many characters that like drinking and lost themselves for a day or two. I wouldn't say that weird but it's common

It's called the teen hormones. When you are 17, you are neither considered as an adult and not a child. You want to do so many things and you rebel. After creating an identity for yourself, you struggle to keep it. I have gone through that phase too.
 
it's a common plot in manga. just remember that i posted a thread for characters who drank too much and then slept with people like it was nothing.
 
@angel I swear everyone of the protagonist in these mangas and anime that you recommended are seriously laughable drunks. They can't hold liqliquor at all and that's why they always get into trouble lol

they always create a mess and other characters had to clear that up for them.
i don't like lousy drunks at all

True. But though they are losy drunks their characters are still pretty good. I mean you did still like Ewon, Yang and Takato I'm sure ;)

It's better to not come across those characters too much, blackrose.
Some people like anime characters a bit too much and they might influence those people

I'm not saying that they should go looking for them. I couldn't create a new thread for it so I put it here.
If it's such a big deal. Why is there even a section for it...just saying not trying to be rude or anything

i am not a lightweight but i am not a heavyweight too. i am somewhere in between

That's not my point at all.
I just meant that animators shouldn't concentrate on drunkards much. It would be a bad influence on kids
 


Lately I have come across too many news articles where kids die, because of some character's death and such.
It's better to tone down these things a little :D

Everything has it's own good and bad traits.
People shouldn't get influenced man

That is true and very sad. Not only in anime though, on most television shows there are so many bad influences and then everyone wonders where the criminals come from

Indeed.
I believe it has something to do with the way they grew up.
Sometimes it's just the chemicals produced in them...I am not so sure
