Looks like spambots are still hitting our server.
We have changed our setting to the highest possible level, if this problem remains the same, then we will have no choice but to use the 'under attack' mode again.

No it's just annoying causing the server to be slow or crash.

More like it would keep on sending requests and normal users wouldn't be able to access it.
It's very annoying for other users.
