Card or cash?

What sort of payment method do you prefer?
I prefer cash payment as I have heard of many stories with respect to stolen passwords for cards.

I see. I am okay with giving card details to Amazon and such.. but I wouldn't do the same with small stores

I see. I am not comfortable enough to swipe my card at a very small store.
 
If I had an income I'd use my card all the time with the tap and pay they have now its so much easier but until then I just use cash almost all of the time.

I am not so sure about the place where you live but over here, I have heard too many stories about stores obtaining cards information and then robbing the people.
 
Card is better option and without a hassle you could get things done but cash could be good if you are on the run. I am just kidding :cheers:
 
I use both, mainly card since I get a % back on all transactions and I'll use cash for like small stuff or when I get money off for using paper.

You are being too paranoid. Most people use card in my city for transactions involving a lot of money.
And I don't think I'd buy stuff over Rs. 500 in a small store.

I understand her concern but that wouldn't stop now from using my card often.
You know how it is.... They have our life savings kiddo

Yes but she's saying the same thing in every reply and it's really not as bad as that.
Plus you can't carry cash everywhere, like you can't pay hard cash for 10,000 or something.

Come on kiddo... It doesn't hurt to be careful about some stuff. And for the record.. It's easy to carry such amount o.O
It's not like we are talking about 50k or something

You are more likely to be robbed of those notes than be scammed.
 


I don't have more than 500 in my wallet, though I don't really spend more than 400 a week so that's enough for me I guess.

Oh....I try to limit myself for 100 a day but over here even a tea costs 20 bucks ;_;
I can't go on through a day without my tea.....

In your office or generally anywhere? I know Bangalore is a bit on the expensive side.

I am not so sure... As i don't usually have tea anywhere.. For me cleaning and all matters... Probably cheap tea would be there outside.. But I am not so sure.
