Can you watch an anime just because it has beautiful art?

I wouldn't be able to watch an anime, just because it's got great art without any good story.
It's too difficult for me.
I have dropped couple of anime before which got a bad story development

Pretty much the only reason I brought myself to finish the hiiro no kakera series. Poor story but the backgrounds were awesome seeing at times.

Nope. Good art doesn't cut it for me if the narrative isn't good and the characters are boring.
Good animation is a different thing, however. I can remain transfixed to it and not mind anything else. That's a luxury you can have when you are watching a show from Studio Bones or Kyoto Animation.

Well, it's a short, plus its description is given as "pain-on-glass" which is something I can admire(I liked Mob Psycho's ED mainly because of that, plus Reigen is awesome).
Anyway, welcome back. How have you been?

People are coming and going. Some are staying longer. The forum is clocking 100+ posts per day. And fortunately most of them aren't spam nowadays, though initially they were.
We chose Serial Experiments Lain for this month's group watch and I started it but no one else did.
And well we chose userbars for staffs, and we've selected a background. Nothing other than that.

That sounds pretty great. I probably didn't chose the right time to go on break then =) What are these userbar, like special UI elements for the staff?

I've noticed onions started to work again, that is the best change as far as I am concerned xD

Did you watch Boruto episode 65, by the way? I specifically asked about it because it's the episode that features Sasuke+Naruto vs Momoshiki, and I'm not even kidding, the animation quality/Sakuga in it is better than the movie, and it's something extraordinary if an anime episode exceeds a movie's quality.

The fight was true to the manga from what I hear(I didn't read the initial chapters from the manga). And not when it comes to the fight, but the plot points(like Momoshiki keeping a seal on Boruto's hand, etc.), and Momoshiki's design itself is true to the manga, unlike the movie, Momoshiki looks like he has Cursed Seal stage 2 in that.

Oh lol sorry I spaced out. Incredibly tired today.
I'm not sure about it because as I said while episode 65 followed the manga, episode 67 looks like it's gonna return to the usual slice-of-life style that the anime is used to. I probably have to watch a few more episodes to tell you for sure.
And I only read till the chapter which showed Ao for the first time speaking to someone(on a train?).

I'm pretty sure it won't end in 131 episodes like Dragon Ball Super. But fact of the matter is they need confidence. They don't have the guts to do a serialised arc that lasts 10+ episodes yet. That's how I fall. Kishi was able to ease into the Zabuza arc, and it was Shounen gold. They can't make this anime sustain just by adapting one-shots and other left over chapters from Naruto, and at other times have episodic narratives.

I'll be sure to check it out soon.

i have watched an anime before for it's beautiful animation like sensitive pornograph and i read manga for the art like silent
