Best animation in anime

There are so many varied types of anime. All of them have one thing in common though.. animation. So from all the anime that you have looked at which would you say has the best animation?
 
The fate series along with Attack on Titan can produce some very high quality scenes that will make your eyes melt. I know you can always count on Madhouse and Bones for top tier stuff.
 
Animation is obviously unfairly skewed towards movies, TV anime can't compare at all unless it's a Bones show(Eureka Seven, Mob Psycho 100, FMAB, Space Dandy) or a KyoAni show(Violet Evergarden, Hibike Euphonium, Hyouka) or sometimes Production IG(Haikyuu, Psycho-Pass, Ghost in the Shell).

So probably movies like Spirited Away, Kizumonogatari, A Silent Voice, Madoka Magica: Rebellion etc.

Other TV anime that have impressed me over the years include One Punch Man, Kill la Kill, FLCL, Fate/Zero and whenever Naruto goes ape-shit during its fight sequences.

Yeah they both have some really good animation. And the art and stuff isn't bad either. I am loving the opening song for Attack on titans though

Wow that's a lot..so I'm guessing then that you don't have a specific show in mind but looks to be rather that you would rank the company responsible..that's actually an interesting way to look at it since whatever was produced in on place might be the same.

Well judging from the movies that I have seen I will have to agree with you on that. Movies animation are pretty great but there are some anime series that have great animation as well :)

Movies typically have more budget and more importantly time to work one, with a lot less run-time so yes.

That is also true, maybe I should have specified for anime series instead of just anime

Honestly, It might as well be a coin flip because I have no idea if the shows I like you're gonna like and vice versa.

Lol I guess so but just the other day I was telling madara that some previous animes I watched didn't have any kind of substance and essence and well I'm really impressed with this one. Makes me kinda mad that I didn't get to it sooner lol

It's not my fault that you watched Daily Lives of High School Boys and expected "substance " and "essence".
Besides those are things I don't look for when I watch shows.
