Beheading in anime

I see this often and is it really easy to behead someone? Why don't the censor communities, restrict anime from showing these disturbing scenes? I had a nightmare about it, when I was young

What anime did you watch that it showed you a beheading when you were so young? Most animes tend to show any beheadings off screen.

I remember the scene but not the anime name. Some bandits raids a village and sets it on fire, takes everything includng women, kills everybody else

I never saw any beheading in anime or in manga not sure but I don't remember watching any

It's not everyday that you see that in anime but it's still there

Yes, it's that easy to behead or decapitate someone with a very sharp substance or very sharp weapon. Even the kitchen tools, such as knives you have in your kitchen can be dangerous, and easily cut deep into your hand/fingers if not managed correctly. We as humans, are not made out of iron. Also keep in mind that anime is fiction and not reality.

Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it should be censored. Most violent animes that show such things are meant for adults over the age of 18. And restricting and censoring such things are very undemocratic, and it's essential that we don't censor such things, also because it would be against freedom of speech and freedom of expression.

If you don't like such things, simply don't watch it. Let people enjoy their extremely violent anime, or even movies for that matter.

Here's a yt video showing multiple beheadings in anime(spoilers obv): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96m0pjTe6VQ

I never knew that there are so many anime, that takes beheading to an extreme level. I really would like to avoid them. I don't know any names of the above anime. I recognized mirai nikki and that's about it. Kisei seibutsu too.

Kitchen tools are more scary. you could easily hurt yourself or others if you are not careful enough. i like the video and it really shows how fragile humans are.

Actually, they say beheading does hurt.  The head is still alive for a minute after the chop I think.  Anyway, why would it be more gruesome than an electric chair scene?  Any thoughts?

I remember this sometime before
It's a horrible thing to witness and I wouldn't want to watch it again.

I haven't seen any beheading man.
It is always censored and I should probably try to get more information

pretty sure Japanese airwaves can't show it in a proper way. The clearest one I've ever seen was raikage and Bee vs kisame
