Yeah about that she posted a thread about the movie without finding out about this one so I had to merge both so never mind this.
As for the movie I thought it had phenomenal visuals but it was bloated and overly long with uninteresting characters so I couldn't finish it in one sitting.
And it's not as though I don't like long movies I've even seen movies that date decades back that are 4 hours long, it's just that this one gave more importance for the visuals while having a generic story about "Nature vs Man" and had nothing new to offer. I probably would have liked it more had I watched it in the theatre in 3D back when it came out but I didn't really start loving cinema as a medium until 2016.

No they finished shooting it, they are doing post-production right now if I remember correctly. It's all set for December 2020.

Yea it's pretty high on my list as well. I really loved every aspect of the movie. I also heard about the part two...it was supposed to release last year but I haven't heard anything about it since. ..pity cause I was really looking forward to it

I really haven't seen this movie, I heard it was good but I just never taken the time to check it out.
I'll watch it tomorrow for sure just a bit busy now.

Whatever you are referring to is fan-made. Post-production has just now started so they definitely don't have anything ready to cut together and put out there.
