Are seinen anime too unethical?

I am having this argument in another forum. Do you think seinen series lack morals and focus only on the bad side of humanity in most of the seinen anime?

I'd say not everything can be happy endings and friendship. This is madness in this world and there can be madness in anime/manga.

Aha.. interesting. Will i'd like to say Seinen are grey rather than black or white, and some are lean toward black/unethical but that's the charm. We got something 'heavy' to read rather than crammed with rainbow and rose, and usually Seinen inspired us to think and reflect about humanity, at least that what i feel, and sometimes the ending are classy, we're free to perceive the ending with our imagination and understanding.

Heavy doesn't have to be unethical always but, in every seinen anime, you will find at least one unethical and illegal content

Sometimes it's necessary to give emphasize to the event

Do you really think the life of an average guy couldn't get complicated man?
They can have plenty of good stories with that

Yes it could be but it won't be that dramatic, an author need to give impression to their story so it will give mark to the reader/watcher

How else would you keep the attention of 20+year olds? Can you have conflict without anything bad happening?
Also looking at this list https://myanimelist.net/anime/genre/42/Seinen I can see plenty of not too dark shows like OPM and houseki no kunni.

Not really I mean Seinen is basically something with no restrictions because you are marketing it to adults and not teenagers and you need some restrictions to sell content to them. That doesn't automatically make it good obviously. So nothing unethical about showing what's actually happening in real life.

Not everything illegal can keep attention man.
OPM is almost shounen and I don't get why they listed it in seinen
