How come these anime are very less when compared to the male protagonists? I don't think anybody observes this so far.
I really would like to anime with strong female protagonists who are not tsundere and are graceful

Physcho pass , Ghost in the shell , Hell girl.. Female protagonist.

I have seen psycho pass and I am not talking about a female protagonist like that.
I am looking for someone like hell girl, or balsa from seirei no moribito.

What is wrong with Akane? =)

Certainly that's how it is. We didn't complain when luffy, naruto, ichigo and many other male protagonists does everything by themselves :D
Well, it might be boring but I didn't find seirei no moribito, hell girl ...boring :D

You mean Akane? I haven't seen the second part, but it makes sense that after a time skip they would make her very competent, it should be an offset and a contrast to her days as a newbie. No idea how good it was executed though.

Kino's journey is a great example =) Though I don't think they mention Kino's gender in the show, at least not in the part I've seen.

I have watched jormungand. If you are talking about Koko, she is mentally strong and a leader but she doesn't have any physical strength and she needs rescuing all the time :D
I haven't watched black lagoon.
As for psycho pass...I really don't know why I never liked it all that much.
If anything, I believe himitsu is done better with the same concept. Even in second season, Akane didn't look all that competent to me.

They are rare, even more rare to not be over sexual looking.

A few off the top of my head though would be Claymore, Black Lagoon, Queen's Blade and SAOA.

Thank you. I have watched Claymore and I did enjoy it. As for black lagoon....i dropped it. What exactly does SAOA stand for?

I was talking about Monster there. Kino is based on Light Novels actually. It's because of Kino that I ended up watching Sword Art Online Alternative even though I'm not a fan of SAO, because the light novel it's based on is also written by the same guy.
Available in German eh. I think whatever anime Netflix is getting exclusive license to stream also have German dubs.
