Well yu yu hakuso is an an oldish anime which does have a lot in common with bleach.Has a ether world,lot of fighting etc. Loved it when I watched it long back.

Watched it and loved the introduction part.
Are there any other anime? Is HXH belongs to this genre? I can't decide.

Hxh is more like naruto than bleach. Written by the same mangaka as yu yu hakusho.

That statement is ...I don't get it. Both are shonen anime.
 

Because you can't watch the hunter exams in HxH without having it scream it you how similar it is to the chunin exams.
