I was going to say another A-word, but decided against it.

I saw this listing there, and said, Eh, why not?

So I've got answers, you've got questions. It's Shack Radio!

Today I purchased a number of role playing games I definitely didn't have money for, but who cares! The world may be ending for a lot of people soon. So we should just live to the best of our abilities and screw the bills! I got:
  • Panty Explosion Project
  • Ryuutama
  • Stars Without Numbers (Revised)
  • Tactical Waifu
  • Teenagers from Outerspace
  • Tenra Bansho Zero
  • Ultimate Hyper Magical Girl
So who wants to play with me?

If you can control the life and death of one anime character, who will be picked by you and what will be the outcome?

do you like taking photos of you?
if you can stay in anime universe for eternity, will you choose to go?
Actually, I despise taking pictures, whether of myself or other people, or of other people taking my picture.
Would I stay within an anime universe forever? Yes, most definitely. Because I'm crazy, and I love unhinged crap, and I might get a special ability or super power or something-- but knowing my luck, I'd just end up being the stupid main character pathetic Japanese boy in a Harem who can't decide which girl to date.

Ever been to a anime convention before?
No, I haven't. But I did move specifically to Boston so that I have a much greater chance to go to one someday before I die!

If you can control the life and death of one anime character, who will be picked by you and what will be the outcome?
This is a tough question, because honestly, I don't know. The power of Life and Death is a powerful one, indeed. I already have that power as a Game Master in the role playing games I create. And with recent events happening in the world, a shower thought I had this morning was "What good does death do to a person as a form of punishment? They'll never have the opportunity to learn from their mistakes and bad deeds. But then the flip side of this argument is, if somebody is unwilling to learn, then perhaps death is the only acceptable form of punishment for that person."

But since we're dealing with fictional characters here, and not real people, if I had to pick one anime character to live or die, I would probably choose to allow Percia Testarossa (Fate's mother) to live, rather than die. I believe that although she was unusually cruel, she was redeemable with lots of therapy and strict control placed over her. (And I'm saying this as somebody who literally turned off the episode in the middle of watching it for three weeks, as I witnessed the first cruelty applied to Fate's body.)

What was your first job and did you like it? (Also I'm intrigued about the first game you listed lol. I'm a very immature 35 year old guy though haha.)

Role playing games like RPG in playstation or what?
Role playing game as in pencil and paper games that involve shouting profanity at some plastic dice while siting around a large table and scarfing pizza (or nachos). Dungeons & Dragons types of games, but not Dungeons & Dragons. I don't care for Dungeons & Dragons. Playing pretend while sitting down, creating a customized character, a persona, and make believing you are that character, adventuring in an alternate reality of pure fiction (and in my case utter chaos!).

My first job, I was 17 and worked at a Wendy's back when they had the Superbar. I think you were probably like two or three years old in 1993? I started out as a dishwasher. I lasted three months, before my evil witch of a step-mother forced me to quit. She was a major control freak, and wouldn't all me to earn spending money. Not that I even got an allowance either. Because I didn't.

You mean Panty Explosion Project? Well, let's take a looksy...I haven't even cracked the PDF cover yet...

Panty Explosion is a game where players work together to tell a story about teenage school girls who have psychic powers and fight demons. We’ll sit in a circle and take turns creating scenes, describing what our characters do and maybe acting out their actions and speaking in their voices. If you like telling stories, acting, or using your imagination then you’re going to have a ton of fun.

A game of Panty Explosion can be super intense, dramatic and suspenseful, but it will also often be very funny! A game of Panty Explosion will usually last about 3 hours, and if we want we can play again later and continue our story. One of us will take the role of Superintendent, acting as a narrator and a guide for the other players. The rest of us will play Students.
(Yeah, I lifted that from page one? Actually page five. There were three pages of manga.) So it looks to be a horror school-girl themed game. (Assuming girls here, hence the title involving the term panties.)

What was the first online project that you've ever worked on?
That would be my first website, that later turned into my first anime community, Ayeka's Bliss, a fan shrine dedicated to Princess Ayeka and the anime of Tenchi Muyo! (and Tenchi Universe), which later turned into a Play by Post role playing haven for other bizarre anime-centric, and D&D games. It came online June 20, 2003 and survived until it's final closure on October 16, 2012, when I stopped paying for the domain registration.
