Akatsuki meaning

How many of you guys know that, Akatsuki means 'Red moon'?
It's kinda weird phrase for me, but I like the sound of it ^^

I don't know about it, but sounds cool. I only know 'moon' is 'tsuki', so 'red moon' is 'akatsuki' haha..
