It's weird to see Jin ling now, who is so much like his father and I wouldn't be able to differentiate between them. The story is a little different in this episode again but I expected it to have few more changes.

I never found it weird until now and isn't Weia part of Jiang Cheng's clan? Why is he wearing red and black outfit instead of the purple outfit?

It's making me compare the anime to source material sub consciously and I feel like I am not able to enjoy the anime because of this. I spoke rethink about watching anime for the manga or novels that I have already covered.

There are too many contradictions to novel. How did Wei wuxian even enter the cloud recess without any invitation? How could he have confronted Lan Wangji without any provocation? I still like the anime but not as much as the novel.

Finally the anime deviated from the novel and if you haven't read the novel for this, then take note of spoilers ahead. Jin ling prays to that deity to bring the monster of the Dafan mountain, in front of him and only then, the deity would respond. There are no more soul consumption village...

I read this novel a long time ago and I have started watching the anime and it's really good. It does a little more justice to the novel than the drama version. I have been picking up all the genres anime and I don't find any genre bad so far including Yuri/Yaoi to horror and battle anime. So...
