Is this a thread from 2010? Some anime fans are so stuck in time they never move past those few anime they watched in their early days.

In anime their 'disability' could be some handicap that others have but they don't, like in many battle royal type shows. It definitely makes me root for them.

There's a lot of cultural mixing that's probably overlooked by most unless you know the lore. Eg there's a lot of buddhism references shown in japenese media which is of Indian origin. There's a bunch of personas in SMT which are straight up Hindu gods.

The game has improved a lot too after the huge patches of 1.5 and 1.6. People thinking of getting the game now should wait for the 2.0 patch that's coming out with the DLC which completely revamps the game again.
