How insecure are you about life?

i think i have the highest insecurity.
no house, no savings, no one to actually care about me. when i couldn't work anymore, i don't know what i would do. may be i will be homeless

I don't have a house either. I live in a condo (rented). I've got very little savings (less than a paycheck's worth), but luckily I found a friend on Facebook who turned out to be a roommate, then a partner. You just need to keep looking. (I also want to emphasize that I went to Facebook looking for FRIENDS, and nothing more.)

I don't think things will get so horrible for you that you end up as homeless. Maybe start a list of skills that you know, even the very basic, beginner level stuff. You might surprise yourself with the knowledge you know, you could work for somebody under the table.

I have house, no savings but i have some golds. But my biggest failure of my life is my wife, she's a disaster. But anyway we still keep our marriage because we're still functional and i feel lazy to find another woman

I'm curious here, @MoonlightShadow , I'm not sure what constitutes as a disaster, but how can you consider the fact that your wife is a "disaster", and accepting failure on your part? You cannot control your wife, as she's a separate, autonomous, human being. Her shortcomings are her problems-- you may not like her issues, but they are her issues, and you can not take responsibility for somebody else's actions.

Oh.. like she cannot be told gently. Example :
*i put a spoon among the spatula, knife and other kitchen utensils at the kitchen*
Me : "Hey, i put spoon here, because whenever i cook, i need to taste it"
*tomorrow, the spoon is gone, she put it back among other spoon and fork on dining table*
*this cycle repeating for several times until i get angry and she never put back the spoon on dining table*
Yea.. i have to angry to make her listen to me, it's tiring. Another thing is she never supportive to what i do, even my business. There's many more of course, okay i'll tell you one more.. like easy things become difficult when she is the one doing it. Example :
Me : "you're in supermarket? Get ricotta for me, i need it"
Her : "which one is ricotta?"
Me : "just read the package. Ricotta"
Her : "oh the one with purple packaging.."
Like duh.. read the package, not memorizing it by packaging color

I accept her as part of my failure because when i marry her i have some options. I fail to fully assess her

I am pretty dang insecure, for one thing my wife and I will never be able to afford to live on our own again. We tried in our 20's and we both worked in retail making pennies and we couldn't keep up with the cost of living, mind you this was over a decade ago in the 10's so things were bad but not as bad as they are now. We live with my in laws, and once they pass I think we get to inherit the house but I don't know if we would be able to afford the mortgage payments. My wife doesn't work currently, she takes care of her mother. I almost lost my job too last month because I didn't have enough sick time to cover the week I was out due to covid and unfortunately they are going to start cutting people at some point. x_X

I don't own a house. My blood side of family lives overseas. No kids. Married with pre-nuptial agreements. My partner and I both working retail. I was manager and we still could just feel good enough to see our savings grow and have a few cool expenses but no where the point of travelling overseas and stuff. I had to step down in management for my sanity and eventually look for a way out of the company. I loved what it was and I love my co-workers but I hated the direction it is heading and the communication from the top wigs. The fact that I stepped down and it felt not that much of a difference made me sad. Like, really management is being paid pennies and a lot of what we were able to do were because we were really good at organizing our money. It still never had enough to save up nearly as much as I would have wanted for my current age. ;_;

Right now I am working a lot less in a company that seem to be doing a lot better and well established. I have been told that more hours and training are coming for me, but in the meanwhile we just barely able to pay the rent and power.

So as in today, I don't feel secure. I feel like if anything gets out of place things can go downhill very fast. I have diabetes type 2 and my side of the family on both sides is cancer prone, so ngl chat, I get nervous sometimes. Still, I am remaining hopeful and trying to push myself to do more creative stuff like maybe selling a few charms, earrings or something. If I don't get better hours for xmas then I definitely will have to freelance or something but you know, gotta keep my hopes up and check the doors that open.
