Would you recommend an anime even if you dislike the ending?

Well, let's assume it's got a great opening and all.

I would recommend an anime, even if the ending is bad. I have watched plenty of Animes, where the story was good in itself, yet had a terrible ending. Some endings I would even recommend not watching, if the person could avoid potential unpleasant feelings about how it ends.

There are many Mangas having bad endings, but that should be liked right? Do you think you dislike the ending still recommend that?
