Will you be able to drop a long series, after following it for  years?
For me, that would be a big fat no.

Double edged sword, watching long anime. You are too invested to drop, so you are always unsure if it's going to shit. Been that way with One Piece for me since the second half of the Dressrosa arc began.

That's close to 600 episodes man.
You can't drop an anime after watching for that long. Even if it gets bad, we will keep on watching it till the end.

That's what. If it was a 50 episode series and you get bored by episode 18 or something you'd drop it easily but with something like this you are too invested to drop it but you are still having a horrible time, a la One Piece. Silver lining is that the manga is supposed to be very good but I just don't like reading manga.

Not unless it got really bad but I wouldn't as it would be a waste of all the time I put into it. It's why I never believe anyone who says they quit one piece after so many years.

Sorry to hear that man.
Manga is at the top in all the sales charts, so it's no wonder. I like your logic too and it's just a fact

isn't it very popular and good?
unless it doesn't have a main story and goes with only case by case series, it's hard to drop such a long following manga

that's all good.
i don't follow very big manga and pick manga with less than 100 chapters most of the time.

Why is that?

because i would be bored after reading it.
i don't want to think manga started out great but got boring. usually my earlier manga got boring after some chapters

Yeah. Easily. It just needs to turn into complete trash not just have a bad arc.

Wow...that's been in my list like forever. I am just too afraid to pick it up thanks to the number of episodes.
